A Place Rooted in Family and Love
My husband, Bob, and I moved to the farm in 2010, though in many ways, I feel as though I have grown up here all my life. My grandparents purchased this property in 1932 and raised their family here, including my father. Some of my fondest childhood memories were made on this land—running through open fields, learning to swim in the river, and playing in this very barn while my dad and uncle tended to the cows.
To honor my grandmother, who spent her lifetime here and whose spirit still lives in every corner of the farm, we named our venue Sadie Belle. Our love and respect for this place run deep. We are devoted to caring for it—and for our couples—with intention and heart, paying attention to every detail to help make each wedding day truly unforgettable.
The Barn at Sadie Belle Farm as a wedding venue was born one quiet evening as we sat within her old walls, a glass of wine in hand, soft jazz playing, and a deep love and respect for her history in our hearts. In that moment, we began to see her in a new light—no longer a shelter for cattle, but a place where love stories would be sealed with wedding vows.
We imagined her aged beams and rafters glowing beneath twinkling lights, filled with laughter, music, and the joyful hum of celebration. We envisioned a place where couples could gather with their closest friends and family to honour their love. A place of peace, beauty, and timeless romance.
Bob and I make it our top priority to do our utmost to help our guests bring their dream wedding to fruition and consider it a privilege to welcome you and your loved ones to the barn.
